Sorry, I don't know how to make a link. Yes, I did buy this and am feeling slightly remorseful. I have been cruising for one of these since I learned of their existance about a year ago. I've heard that perhaps some "real" ones were minted around 1886 for some type of centennial. Also, this is the only one I've ever seen with what appears to be high quality construction and not sand cast. The fact it has all the small "bumps" around the rim leads me to believe someone at least tried to make an attractive coin and spent some time on the die (if it's minted). Still, nice to look at (rationalize). Anybody know the real poop on these? Thanks!
