I saw a few of these on Ebay this week for the first time. I saw none at the FUN show. Where did this company come from?

  • The Cert # is 928 so they are very new. Right off the bat they are lax on the cents, Link, no MS66RD can have spots like that.

TruGrade is a self-slabber by the name of Andrew Szoke out of Bangor, Pennsylvania. They don't have a website or anything (yet) but their address is:

    TruGrade
    32 Broadway
    Bangor, PA 18013

Like any self-slabber, I would consider the grade written on the slab no more valuable than a 2x2 with a grade penciled on it.
  • I did a search on Google, and came up with THIS

I find it interesting that the seller of the linked auction (who apparently is a principal in the grading company) won't allow returns of coins slabbed by Trugrade.

Does this remind you of anyone else?

  • He probably took both business and grading lessons from the man himself!
