An eBay cherrypick: Will it CAM?

OK, the photo is small and a funky yellow, but from looking at the light on the mirrors -- versus none on the devices -- will this 1955 Jeff go CAM? The reverse could have some funky toning/haze, but hey, a mid-50s CAM is nothing to sneeze at, particularly for $10. I played with the seller's image in Photo Shop, enlarging and changing colors, and it strikes me as a CAM. Anyone else have an opinion?

It's a fun gamble. I've got a 55 that didn't that the mirrors are nice on and the devices are matte (not frosty), but for $10, it's a great gamble. Good luck.

I've gotten worse into a DCAM, but it was modern. They maybe a little more choosey with older CAM/DCAM designation. I submitted a 81-S Lincoln, hoping it was a Type II with bad hazing on the mirrors. I thought for sure I'd be lucky with a 67CAM, well PCGS said 68DCAM, so maybe the Jeff goes CAM. Give a shot what do you have to lose.

Those 55 Jeff proofs can be funky ... I have one with a DCAM obverse and a totally brilliant reverse. Unfortunately, likely not worth slabbing as a PR-66...

Yeah, it's pretty close. Giving it the old acid test, I ask myself how I would feel about it if I bought it in a cam holder, and I would think it was over-designated, so I guess I'm pretty happy to have a PR66 with some cam.image

I say it's a CAM - only after a decent dipping or something to remove the haze properly.
