1999 SBA Proofs are back at the Mint

Last month they were marked as no longer available, but they decided to release some PR70DCAMs so they're back now.

Maybe some indication as to the Mint not exactly having their hand on the pulse of the coin market.
They REALLY over-estimated demand for this one if they,re still in-stock four years after the fact.
If the mintage was more than 1.5 million they made too many IMO.

The mintage is supposed to be 750,000 and after four years they still haven't sold out.

yeah, did you see what happened to the SQ First Day Covers after they decided to sell some more Delawares that they "found"?

Delaware and Massachusetts were both trading at $250+, now they're both in the $40 range.

way to go U.S. Mint!!!!!!! great call there. So they pocketed a few extra dollars selling like 100 more - and killed demand for those remaining and the next 30 states. brilliant.
