Back from the Chelmsford Ma. Coin Show today

Another busy show. Not as busy as the Nashua N.H. show last week, but things were still hopping. Everyone is looking for gold! No one seemed to have much of it out on display though. Seems like everyone wants to hold it a bit longer looking for some more gains. I didn't bring any coins to sell, which was a mistake as everyone I talked to was eager to look for new stuff. I picked up a few nice goodies which I put a few of them on the BS&T board. I'm not a huge Lincoln guy but I did see a VERY nice 1926-s Lincoln in an anacs ms/64 r/b holder hat seemed all there. I know that's a toughie, especially where this one was very well struck. I was also offered a nice 64 rd 31-s Lincoln in an older, smaller pcgs holder, but $225 seemed a bit steep for the coin. Anyway, things are busy, and everyone seems to be very encouraged for the new year!! image

Chelmsford is probably the smallest of the local shows I attend up here, and there were probably 40-50 tables. The place is cleared out in plenty of time for the SuperBowl, so there wouldn't be a conflict there.
Honestly, there was a whole lot of everything there. A real nice mix. Unfortunately for Michael, I didn't see any coins that fit his list, except for the early proof sets. I did see a couple, 1937, and 194? both in Capital holders. I did examine the '37, and it seemed decent, but not spectacular. There were a couple of dealers that were loaded up with Commem's from FUN, but none with "monster" toning. I did see a very nice Lafayette though. image
Dealers were interested in gold grading ms/63+, and good quality coins for the grade, with eye appeal, but aren't they always? image
