Hmm I am scratching my head wondering why he would try to sell two nice coins like this in the same auction. He has just elimated a lot of potential buyers.

Could be a consignment deal. A while back a seller had a nice 1869 Two Center listed together with a Three Center. I wanted the 2¢, so I eMailed the seller and asked if he could list them seperately the next time around. He said he'd love to but couldn't because they were consigned, and the owner wanted them sold together.
