What are your thoughts on PCGS/NGC placing coins in the slab reverse side up if the toning warrants

I am seeing it more and more.
I would like to hear everyone else's experience.
Do you have to ask for it, or should they do it automatically?

The funny thing is , I did not realize it, until after I won the coin.

At FUn even saw a cut out of the inner liner on a IHC so the reeded edge (on a pattern) would show. They gave the owner the inner liner and he made a couple cut outs, then they reholdered it - looked nice.
