Another HUGE plus to these boards :)

I just received my first Liconln cent from a board member (at least someone I first met on these boards). Clankeye sold me an absolute GEM of a Lincoln:

1957 PCGS MS66RD, and at a sweet price!

I *might* find a 67 one day, but I won't find one any prettier! Thanks Clank!

I tried this morning around 10:30, but they weren't open. We had to meet some folks for lunch then get back to Alex City, but I'll hit Dougs again sometime next week (I grew up about 2 miles from Homewood and my mother still lives there, so I get back pretty often).

So no...nothing new today, except Clank's AWESOME 57-P Lincoln. What about you? Anything you need to tell us about?

Nothing new for me this week - but they did have a VF35 chocolate brown 1793 large cent there on consignment that would knock your socks off! I looked at it under a loupe for about 15 minutes - it was wonderful! You could even see some faint orange glow on the reverse of this thing! I tell ya - it was like holding history in the palm of your hand!!! WONDERFUL!!!

Hope they still have it when you get there!
