NEW NFL HOFers

We need to get these added to our NFL HOF RC list and finally get it in to BJ. Here's the RC's:

1970 Topps Elvin Bethea #43
1974 Topps Joe Delamielleure #183
1979 Topps James Lofton #310
1983 Topps Marcus Allen #294

Hank Stram was also elected, but he falls into the Coach category.

All should have a weight of only 1.

Now lets get this HOF RC set up and running..LOL

Already done! I e-mailed the updated spreadsheet to BJ, so hopefully we can get the set up soon.

p.s. I didn't include it of course, but Hank Stram's RC is 1960 Fleer #116.
p.p.s DeLamielleure's RC has never been slabbed.

Only 4 Bethea's ever graded too..Luckily I've got an 8 already...I had a feeling he would get in after hearing a couple of the HOF voters talking him up when the finalists were announced.

The 70 and 74 Topps are both tough to find in raw NM/MT condition. Will be interesting to see who will be the first of the Registry to score one in 8 or better condition..

Joe, thanks for the extra work with the NFL HOF RC set. Makes a big difference for all involved.

BJ replied today and said someone else sent her a spreadsheet last week claiming it was the correct version. She's going to compare it with the one I sent and resolve the differences, if any.

Great, Im interested to see what PSA decides on the Thorpe/Grange, Stautner/Creekmur, and the USFL cards. I've just added about 12 or so new HOF rookies to me set, they should be up soon. Check out my "SGC reslabbed by PSA' post to see my grades..

  • Also, I just talked to customer service regarding the 72 and older common grading special. I was told that any card would be accepted as long as it was not a major star such as bradshaw, allen etc. I asked what about bethea and DeLamielleure and they said go ahead and send them in. So get those raw cards in on the low grading price.

about the USFL cards..... I noticed that someone from psa chose to include these in the All time QB set, so i dont see why they wouldn't also choose them for the HOF rc set.

    OH well, just a thought

  • it was more likely that the person who requested the set also requested the usfl cards.

Did you guys catch this auction? The Allen sig doesn't look much like any I've seen. Maybe all fakes? Or maybe just a very early sig?
