How about sealed in freshness?

With all the various methods of preserving coins, I don't recall using one of those food sealers ever being discussed. If the plastic were deemed ok, wouldn't this be the definitive method to save coins? Place them in the plastic bag for a week or so with some silica gel to suck out the moisture, then remove the gel and lock in the freshness, slabs and all!!!!!!!!!!! Any thoughts?

Secondarily, I think it would be hard to look at the coins sealed up like this - I doubt the plastic is completely transparent. Of course if looking at your collection isn't important, then this wouldn't be a problem.
