When PCGS is away...

...at a major show is there anyone still grading coins in Newport Beach (junior graders) image, or do you close for a couple of days until everyone is back???

    We don't have junior graders at PCGS. For example, when we were at the FUN show last month, there were three graders back at PCGS: Gordon Wrubel, Thad Olson, and Rick Stewart. Gordon is on of the founders of PCGS and was the PCGS Director of Grading for 10 years. Thad Olson graded at PCGS for 5 or 6 years before he became the major buyer for Spectrum Numismatics for 6 or 7 years. Thad recently rejoined PCGS. Both Gordon and Thad have years of experience both at PCGS and in the coin marketplace. They are obviously senior graders. Rick Stewart is our modern coin specialist
