I saw them at FUN (although NGC wouldn't let you handle them) and had a flyer but it must have gotten tossed.
I'm most interested in seeing the long-term effects of that sticker on the GSA plastic. In other words, I'm wondering if it'll damage the plastic in any way.
I think NGC has a great idea. Was at a show a few years ago where a pair of dealers were busting dollars out their GSA holders. There was plastic everywhere.Quite a sight to see and somewhat appalling.I mean, anyone is free to do as they will with their coin and coin holder but i saw history being destroyed.i think the GSA slabs are historic and nice and deserve to be preserved.

Is the label made out of mylar, or perhaps some other durable material? If it's a paper label it would be more susceptible to damage. Just a thought. Terrific idea whose time has been long overdue. I agree...the plastic itself represents a period in numismatic history, much as the 1st generation PCGS holders.
How the world has changed... we call something plastic historic.
BTW, I agree with the GSA holders carrying a neat history of what has happened to the coin. People know this was sitting as excess in gov't vaults for near 100 years before being realized what they had.
Nice move NGC. Did the copyright or patten the idea or will PCGS be weeks behind?

Overall, I think the idea is a good one.
