he actually gave me first shot at some stuff he was putting out. He brought it out from the back. I didn't end up buying anything so I hope I didn't burn that bridge.

I had a similar experience -- I bought a 2003 Silver Eagle because I saw my dealer's supplier walk in with them -- first one my dealer sold out of the green box. It was cool to be shopping there while this wholesaler was in delivering so much merchandise.

nb. my dealer complained to the wholesaler because the SEs were all upside down in the first roll he opened -- from which my coin came. No problem, I got a nice specimen.

Cool keep it up . I dont think that fact you didnt buy from him is going to hurt your relationship at all. The fact he offered you first chance is great.
