How many do you think are serious coin collectors out of these members-how thinly do you think the market is capitalized right now for numis.-----is it growing?------------------------------------BigE

Oh I see.You dont click on the profile(sunglasses) just hold cursor over it and read the garbble at the bottom of your browser.BTW whats (tombstone,,blah blah mean? mean were doomed or something?

Re BigEs`question; How many are `serious` collectors? uh define serious...hehe.
I,m fairly serious about my coin hobby.I,d be alot more serious about it if I had more disposable income.image
Its mainly a hobby to me.Not so much an investment but I dont plan to lose alot of money at it I,ll say that much.

I,m sure the hobby has had a ground-swell since the SQ and Sac programs started in `99.
Not sure how many more will come in as opposed to those already into it now. Some will drop out and others will
    step in.
I guess I could see a little more interest in this hobby coming in the near future from a few more non-collectors
    and used-to-be collectors.

I dont know this as fact but,Could it be said that today there are more coin collectors than there every has been in the past ever?

There is another forum where I participate that has over 100,000 members. I'm number 575, and the first 572 were beta testers, (I was one), that all had to re-register once the forum went live. #573 is the forum developer, and #574 is some numbnuts that snuck in ahead of me.image

  • OK, now I am curious. Gotta see my number.
