My new find today

At the big mall in town (glenbrook) There is an antique show till sunday and there always coins for sale. Now if you really look you can find some good stuff for a decient price. Well the first guy I went to had a bunch of over priced stuff like that was unexpected. He did have a bag of wheats 1000 he wanted 20$ for it I got it for 15$ not to bad. Well I upgraded some wheats that I needed to and I bought some nice toned jeffersons and a 1931 mercury in XF and a 1917F in G. So I only need 3 more to go to complete my mercury set.
Anyhow to the coup do graca ( or how ever its spelled) . The wheat cents Igot home and went through them lots of early teens and 20's nice stuff but Ihave them and alot of the 1955 and above. Well I was going through I was pulling out the junk and there some of them that are covered with gunk one made my fingers turn blue. It kinda smelled like ink. So out came the acetone and in went that cent I left it for a half hour and I used a Qtip to get the gunk off it pretty much fell off. I guess my skin would fall off if I sat in acetone for half an hour. Any ways I got to the date and it is a 1931 I thought cool well there was still some gunk where the mint mark should be so a little more acetone AND YES it a 1931S My heart is pounding god this is sooo cool im pretty sure its not a knock off it probally will go as an Fine Extrafine. I know the mint mark isnt glued on it would have come off with the acetone.
Awsome find for me and only for 15$ all the other wheats are just extras now. Picutres of coin to follow soon.
