Grading Question

in PCGS Set Registry Forum
I am a somewhat new collector. I have 2 SAE's from the World Trade Center that are in PCGS holders graded GEM Uncirculated. Is it possible for me to resubmit these coins for a MS grade or is GEM Uncirculated a grade that they have already been given.

    You should be able to send them to PCGS to get a real grade. GEM implies MS65. I would send them in still in the holders if you want to keep the "WTC" designation. If you crack the slab open they will not give it back.
