Bad deals!

I here people complaing about getting a bad deal or getting burned from a coin dealer.I'm not talking auctions but face to face meetings.
Why is it always the dealer is the bad guy.Didn't you agree to the deal.If it is bad walk away. The only person that makes a bad deal is you by going through with it.

Anybody have an opinion on this?Am I the only person that thinks this way?

I live by my eye and die by my eye. If I see something that I think is good and it is not only one person is at fault. ME !!!

If it were in a store, I'd agree... but most of the complaints here tend to be online sellers. In that case, it is the seller's duty to report the coin honestly because scans can't always show all- online, there is also the fraud/bait & switch/poor shipping factor.

It depends on the circumstancs to say for sure whether or not I agree.

I dunno smprfi, most of the complaining is from dealers who got burned by other dealers, zero sympathy for them. If a used car dealer buys a lemmon from another used car dealer, zero sympathy again. If it's someone who knows nothing about cars or coins, THEN they've been taken advantage of and the dealer is a louse. IMHO.

Sure, you should know what your buying. And people should know all they need is a clutch when the tranny shop charges them $1500 for a rebuilt transmission that was never rebuilt (recently happened to my mother). Doesn't make ripping off an ignorant person right, though.
