some of tuff stuff cards are listed a lot more close to ebay price then beckett.

but tuff stuff still has not listed sp authentic bsk from last year!
  • You NEVER hear anyone quote prices from Tuff Stuff. They have a so-so reputation at best in the industry.I would dare say that more people will read Autos' comments on here than ever will in Tuff Stuff.
We both wish him luck tho;everyone has to start somewhere.

  • They are different, sometimes. Beckett is the industry standard for better or worse. Too bad nobody believes in Tuff Stuffs price guide, the articles are much more interesting than Beckett and you get 4 sports in 1 mag, nice if you mainly collect 1 sport but have cards from the others , but not enough to buy 4 guides every month (Not to mention that other one, that used to be future stars).

The problem I always I had with Tuff Stuff is that their pricing is not kept up very well, as in cards that have been cold in the market will still have inflated prices in Tuff Stuff for a long time, or at least longer than Beckett, while cards that are hot will not have their prices reflected in Tuff Stuff while Beckett picks it up. And yes, prices in Tuff Stuff often are somewhat inflated. However, I did like their concept (not necessarily their execution image ) of placing BVs on boxes and packs.

  • They take foever to list new product pricing. Usually when they list a new product it has already come out again the next year. Some of their prices are higher and some are lower. I had a $200 auto that was $90 in Tuff Stuff and a $100 bat card that was $250 in Tuff Stuff. Like bjork said they are always behind on the hot players...they still think Ichiro is the hottest player and probably won't have a clue who Amare and Yao are until next year...

Another draw back is that Tuff Stuff doesn't list everything. And their prices are a tad bit higher than Becketts.
