First off, I just got an email through Gail Baker (education director at the ANA) for permission to use my articles from Your Newsletter in the Journal of the MSNA! (My research paper was broken into the said number of articles in the letter, so I assume that is what is being published).
(MSNA stands for Maryland, not Michigan )
Now- First off, this is a great mental boost knowing that I have an English midterm tomorrow (ugghhh!) But, can anyone tell me how large the MSNA is? I think I've heard of it, but don't know a lot about it- I'm just flattered to be published for the first time in print

Which reminds me, I have to send in this years dues.
We'll use our hands and hearts and if we must we'll use our heads.
The thing is about 6X8 inches and maybe 20 pages if my memory is correct.
(I had my picture in it once.)

Can Do! I have another article at the Numismatist right now- I will tell you what happens with it

You want to get published, just start submitting articles to the various local, state and regional club periodicals. I guarantee you most of them are ALWAYS looking for articles to publish. Most of them are desperate to find something to fill the space. I've been writing a monthly column for the Fort Wayne club newsletter for over 5 years now. I've had articles in a few other club publications and just last wek I was approached by the Indianapolis club requesting permission to reprint my Ft Wayne articles. So just start writing and submitting. People will notice and it will grow from there. Good luck with the MSNA
Now I've got a question. How do I go about joining the NLG?
As I said, I just wrote an article for the Numismatist (against the registry and moderns- go on, flame me now ) I also plan on writing about the charity auction in a how-to article based on the success that I see- I will aim for as many publications for that as possible, as I just want the word about raising money for good causes to get out. I also have an article about the spread of the Euro coins through Europe over at YN

But if you get published and then have to go on a book tour, won't you miss a lot of school?
