  • Great set. I can't wait until about 20 years, when it will all be done.

Hey... takes a lot of work to get the worst known of everything. The hard part isnt buying... it's finding! Nice pics image

  • You need to get pictures of your commems up...THOSE are the ones I'm interested in!

(BTW, it looks like Higashiyama is beating you on the commems...lower average grade and even more complete! Better get crackin'!)

Early Commemoratives are NEXT. I know I can get the pictures to turn out better too. They should be up in the next few days. . .

Just got done looking at the pics. Thanks for the ride. image

I think you should lose the 1852 Large Cent. Too nice for the set. A couple of the Halves should be broken out, run over a few times, and resubmitted. That should lower their grades to the appropriate level. imageimageimage

One more thing, the toning on the 1886 Morgan is questionable. Someone my have been trying to add to it's value. imageimageimage

    Thanks Pat!!!

Actually, I wouldn't mind having that 1852 1c as a filler for my type set. If you get a downgrade, let me know.

We are finite beings, limited in all our powers, and, hence, our conclusions are not only relative, but they should ever be held subject to correction. Positive assurance is unattainable. The dogmatist is the only one who claims to possess absolute certainty.

  • That is awesome!!! I haven't had quite that much enjoyment looking over a set. I think many of us are taking this whole registry thing too seriously. I just love the descriptions on a few of them. Like the Liberty Seated Dime (Pleasant, black, corroded surfaces) and the Half dollar (smooth, no detail planchet). And tell me how did you find a 1964 Kennedy half in FR02??? Man.....that coin looks like it has spent the last 40 years with someone trying to rub the surfaces off of it. But hey......as they say....it is just good honest wear!

Those are truly some of the worst coins I've ever seen. Congratulations! The standouts, IMO, are the 1884 V nickel and the 1964 Kennedy, both excellent representatives of the dregs of numismatics. image Thanks for pics.
