Anyone know where I can get a copy of Doug Winter's New Orleans Mint Gold Coins published in 1992 and now out of print?
I have searched high and low. Thanks in advance for your collective help!!!

Thanks again. I sent Stack's a check for the book, and they returned it to me with a note stating it was no longer in stock.

try this hate to see someone not spend money
Excellent suggestion that I have previously not known, but still no luck.
I will check local coin shows.
Thanks, again.
Been searching for this book almost a year now. I already tried all the sources mentioned. Even wrote Doug himself. There are none to be had. They are rarer than a Dahlonega quater Eagle in MS67! I lent mine out about 2 yrs ago and it never found its way back home and I cant recall who go it. Anyway, most of the consensus info is out dated but the strike and other information is valuable. I fill in using Coinfacts.
Check out the Southern Gold Society
Yes I have tried Stanton's--no luck.
Desertlizard,
I am sorry to hear about your "loss"" (It wasn't me, I swear!). I am also sorry to hear that you have been unsuccessful at finding a replacement copy for yourself. It bodes badly for my search.
FYI, Doug Winter told me that he printed 2500 copies and is surprised that it is completely sold out and so difficult to find. A lot of the updated information on New Orleans gold coins is on his website in the articles section. I believe Mr. Winter plans to update the book or rewrite it, but not this year (per a recent newsletter).
If I find two copies, I will grab the second one for you.
Dave G,
I will try your suggested vendors. Thank you.
