I just noticed that PCGS is finally getting around to having Seated half dime, Seated half dollar and Liberty $5 and $10 registries. How many people are waiting for these sets to arrive? How long will it be before there is a complete US coin registry?

I would like to participate in the seated half dimes. But, most of mine are in NGC holders and I've got enough on my plate now finishing what I've started.
Is your Seated Quarter a long term project? I'll bet those are tough to find, nice.
I looked at the JFS set and it seems that's going to be one fine set if it continues it's course. Is JFS a Forum participant? I'd like to see images if they're available.
My Seated Quarters collection is a long term goal...probably take me decades to complete. I really am still learning and reading about the series...plus I evaluated all five Seated denoms (never considered 20 cents as the series is so short) on rarity, value and potential to complete the set before even settling on the quarter. I just decided to buy ONE coin right away to cement my commitment to collect the series...I didn't realize how rare the 1872 was in MS until after I bought it. Have you ever done that....buy a coin and then go look at the pop report and say "WOW!"? At least the set doesn't have any unique coins...although the 73-CC No Arrows is kinda tough. Before I took a closer look I was always convinced that Seated Dollars were the toughest of the bunch...now although I think it is true for type when collecting by date I think quarters and then halves are the worst of the bunch. You are right about the JFS set...if they are actively adding I think I may be looking up at them for a long time.

Anyway you do it, the set is a major challenge.
Back in 1990 I ran across a "box" of coins that my local dealer had purchased. In it were some seated coins, circ Indians, and other nice circ type coins. He wanted $500 for the box of coins. What really amazed me was that one of the coins in this loose box of stuff, was a mint state 1872 quarter. He graded the coin only a circulated since "technically" it was sitting in this box. It had picked up some surface scuffs from the jostling but the surfaces were original and fully frosty. I hoped it would grade out MS61-62. The coin graded MS63 at NGC. I sold the remaining box of coins for $500 and kept the "better" date quarter. Wish that happened every day.

Congratulations on acquiring that 1872 25c in ChMS. It's a bit of a surprise that a non-descript P-mint would be that tough in UNC...
You are, of course, setting yourself up for a lifetime of frustration in choosing the Seated Quarters! For a huge number of the dates, throw out the sheets if you can even find a nice specimen to add to your collection!
Good luck!

I, too, am currently reading about/researching Seated Liberty Stuff. Am very excited about starting into a whole new area of coins for me, and can't seem to decide which denomination to go with. Don't think I will be collecting them in MS63s like you, but I will try to put together a decent set just the same. Good luck with your set!
