basketball registry set

in PSA Set Registry Forum
how come there is so few ppl doing basketball set, I see so many baseball and football but no basketball.

    From a vintage standpoint, there just isn't a lot to choose from. There are currently less than a dozen
    issues on the registry that could be considered vintage.

    As a hockey collector, I am amazed that more people are not collecting vintage hockey. There is certainly
    a lot more history and far more issues to collect.
