Grading Question on MS 64 - 70 grades

I was looking for some direction/advice on learning more about the difference between MS-64, MS-65, MS-66, etc. I've read several articles discussing the attributes of luster, strike, eye appeal in grading, but when I look at a MS-65 and MS-66 side by side (from the same service) I just don't get it. They look the same to me.

I'm comfortable grading the lower grades, its just these high grades I was looking for direction on. With the price differences sometimes very significant between MS-64 and MS-65, I want to be as informed as possible. Does PCGS have any books published on this subject or can you recommend one.

Eddie...PCGS has a detailed grading book, published by Random House, about grading coins. Book includes detailed descriptions of each grade. Call PCGS customer service and they can tell you how to get a book...David
