Abysmal turnaround times at PCGS

If there was ever a way to get me to reduce the number of submissions to PCGS, they've figured out how big-time:
I dropped off a single 30-day grading coin in person on December 3rd. No results yet.
I called Customer Service this afternoon and asked if I maybe it shouldn't be done by now. The fellow who took my call was clearly embarrassed; said he knows of people with November submissions who are still waiting; and said he'd send a note to the Grading Room that my order is STILL waiting to be graded.

When in doubt, don't.

I doubt there is any compensation because it states on the form that they will not be responsible if it takes longer. Their levels are guidelines and not promises. The graders at the NGC forum posted that their current turnaround times are doing well (that is, an economy finishes faster than stated on form). Would be great to see that here. I'm tempted to not submit again if I have to wait forever and ever to see my coins again.

As it states on the submission form, the credit card is charged as soon as the submission is received.

The PCGS Customer Service rep who took my call on January 20 apparently lit a fire under somebody's derriere, because my long-await grade was posted this afternoon!
A SEGS XF40 Morgan 1901 Doubled Die Reverse became a PCGS-30, just as I had expected... and paid for. (SEGS really has no clue what it is doing.)
As for the 30-day timeframe; I've been told before that there are zero guarantees with the Economy submissions. Thirty days is the target, but when you opt to grade on the cheap, you also take your chances with the calendar.
Still, if PCGS would consistently do Economy submissions in less than a calendar month, I'd be tremendously more inclined to send them more.
Oh well...

Didn't do to badly, either.

My one submission was mailed today, less than 30 days. I have two others pending, one is an error coin and the one is a free one for the registry set... I think the free one may take a while

There is no guarantee on any service level for club members. Only dealers get the guarantee, I found this out when my reg order went past 21 business days.
