A real shame! Cleaned and gouged on the cheek. A gouge would be easier to live with than a polishing, but two strikes kills it entirely.

I love how dealers always say "wiped with a jewelers cloth". Unless they did the cleaning, how do they know?? Looks like it was wiped with industrial strength toilet paper. I recall cleaning that particular coin and I remember using 30 grit sand paper.
