What is the longest you've had to wait for economy service?

My invoice shows received 12/6 and further processing is still required.

I've had a modern level submission on 12/3 that was returned on 1/7, but never had the economy service take so long.

  • I'm a day 26 of my latest 'modern' submission (14 items). Quantity seems to make a difference in turn-around.

Relayer, 6 weeks ? Dec 6 - Jan. 20!!! Thats awful, if the coin is worth some big bucks i wouldn't wait much longer to call customer service and ask Charlie what the hold up is. They got my last submission on 1/7 and i'm allready getting impatient !

I'm still waiting for coins submitted November 13. Was told I'd have them LAST week - still waiting. This coming Wednesday will be 10 weeks - 70 days. Dubious record it may indeed be.............

  • Colorfulcoins,

wow, 10 weeks. that's a little more than "approximately 30 business days" and is the longest turn around I've heard of so far.

I've got two in since 12/12 so I'm only that 26th business day range or so. Getting a bit impatient. I've noticed something, too. The longer it takes, the less excited I seem about what they'll end up being and the more tiresome the process.

  • I have had 32 business day submissions before. That equates to about 45 days but 10 weeks is the worst I have ever heard of. Was there a problem with the submission?
  • My coins have been gone so long,I forgot what they look like. Heck, They were moderns when I sent `em in, and I`m afraid they`ll be classics when I get `em back!imageimage

I'm working on my own economy record. They got to PCGS 12/17. From the looks of what others are saying, though, I think I'll just sit back and relax. Looks like I'll have a while longer.

That means my submission that was received 12/17, will probably be a couple more weeks. The economy service does say 30 business days, so your submission has only been 27 business days considering the graders were off the 24th, and 25th of December. Still within the 30 business day window. 30 business days is 6 weeks with no holidays.

My last economy submission arrived 12/3 and posted 1/16, exactly 30 business days not counting holidays. Too long, and obviously a staffing issue. Thank goodness it's a hobby for me, and not killing my liquidity.

Not economy, but 3-4 MONTHS for regular service from PCGS. Of course, this was over a decade ago.
