Rotated Reverse questions

I have an 1862 Indian, F obverse EF reverse rotated 110 degrees and an 1837 Seated dime VG abot 20-30 degrees rotated. Are they worth anything more???

From what I understand, die rotations were pretty common back then so the coins bring little or no premium.

For a specialty collector, they will bring a premium. You just have to find the right collector. I would call/e-mail Fred Weinberg, and ask him what he thinks. I have some rotated Morgans that I know would bring a premium. Half Cents and Large cents do not bring much of a premium.

I'm not knocking Russ, but don't take just one person's opinion, and that includes me.

The 1862 rotated 110° would carry a small premium but the 1837 dime would carry no premium since the rotation is so small. Generally a coin has to be rotated at least 90° to fetch a premium except in rare circumstances.
