Jefferson Cameo question

Is there anyone on this forum that can post three pictures of a Dcam, Cam, Brilliant Jefferson Nickel proof??? Year does not matter....!

I would love to learn more about these coins and pictures would add to my reading a lot.

Thanks

Tbig

That's too ambiguous of a question, however, recently someone has made an attempt to show the difference through scans or photography in the open forum.

Ok OK I will work at it......

A Dcam designation is when a coin has a very hard frosty portrait and letters and mottos both sides of the coin. Dcam is given by graders when the contrast between the mirrored fields and the "frost" is very pronounced to the point of appearing "black and white"

A CAm then would be the same with less frost and less distinction.

A brilliant proof would be no frost anywhere, but a mirror finish over the coin.

    Am I close?

    Thanks

how about someone posts 3 pcgs jefferson nickels. one in regular proof. one in Cam and another in DCAM. Shouldn't be that hard to do on this board.
  • I will, I will. But I don't have the images at hand and won't make them until after I get caught up tomorrow.
