Upside to bodybagged coins.

Do you find an upside to a disappointing situation such as a coin coming back in a bag?

I do. My upside is I get to hold the coin the way it was meant to be held.I can now play with it with no worries of hurting my investment.

I don't send coins in to get graded but an upside to people getting bodybags is that I can buy coins cheap that people thought were worth grading.image
  • When you've bought a coin and had hopes of slabbing it, it comes back BB'd, I get pissed because I seem to have missed something in their opinion.
I just wait a while and resubmit. Works OK usually. If you have no problems getting a BB, why even submit? Kscope
  • I didn't say that it didn't bother me, because it does.I just try to find the good in a bad situation. It eases the pain.
  • Semper Fi, if you really want it slabbed, resubmit. Those graders have daily opinions that vary with their moods. It works. Good luck.

  • No don't resubmit....just sell to mbbiker or me......cheap! image
If you give up your rights, in order to maintain your freedom. You will most likely end up losing both!
  • You don't always get them cheaper.I've sold some of my BB coins on ebay with honest descriptions and scans of coins and BB together, and have made more than what I paid for it.
