Have you ever successfully crossed a coin over thru to p.c.g.s. that wasn't from n.g.c. or anacs ? l

i've never done it but would like to know if you have.
The President claims he didn't lie about taxes for those earning less then $250,000 a year with public mandated health insurance yet his own justice department has said they will use the right of the government to tax when the states appeals go to court.

I have 1 SEGS and 1 PCI Morgans waiting impatiently since 12/12/02 to be crossed. I'll let you know if it ever gets done. Incidentally, I have 2 ANACS and 1 NGC Morgans in the same invoice. All marked cross at any grade.

I've not done it myself but have had numerous persons tell me they've done it successfully....some even receiving a higher grade!!

  • Crossed a 1917-S Buffalo from NTC to PCGS at the same grade but it was a no-brainer cross. Coin was clearly XF-45. May have been a once in a lifetime event for me.

A PCI PO01 Seq Commemorative to PCGS AG03. I'd been happier with the PO01 grade (of course).

Still in slabs or broken out before you shipped to PCGS?

I sold a beautifully toned '47-S Washington to a Board member that was in a PCI MS63 holder and told him that I would guarantee that it would go at least PCGS MS65. He sent it in for crossover and it went PCGS MS65 just as I predicted.

I have a Washington Half that I crossed from an ICG 66 holder into a PCGS 66. It began life as a PCI 69. See it here:

    PCI to ICG to PCGS

For my next trick, I'm going to send it to NCS to get the spots off, and then get it into an NGC slab. Any bets as to what grade it gets?

flaminio- That's pretty cool, the way you trace the history of one Commemorative from holder to holder!

The low grade Commem I sent in was still in the PCI slab with a "cross-at-any-grade" notation on the invoice (and written with a stick-um on the holder!).

Edited because I realized I misspelled flaminio's name.
