Toned Barber dime - brilliant colors

This is being touted as an MS64. What do you think of the grade and the toning? And what about the breaks in the color in front of Liberty's face? Does that look suspicious?

It looks cleaned then baked. Not original surfaces, and not natural toning. That's my story.

It's an AU that has been doctored. What a disgrace. I bet that if you look at the seller's other auctions, all of his coins will have the same toning....including his Ike dollars and Euro sets. Am I right?

Clearly a bad coin. The marks in the fields in front of the face you??ed is a fingerprint. fingerprints are usually white lines but the heat from the AT job turned the silver brown in this case.
Change that we can believe in is that change which is 90% silver.

run from that coin.......toning is all wrong..........looks like an easy bake oven job or light bulb balancing act for several hours.

how good is the scan? any luster? i think the toning is plausible, though not likely. i would always call the colors a-t, but if your asking whether it was done in an album or a kitchen sink, i would need better digipic's. NOT ms-64 though, likely a slider (au-55/8)
