Intense Washington!!!!!

Has anyone else noticed this stunning 1954 washington quarter??? Now granted, Mr. Werlin is an excellent photographer and it's a gold label PCI holder. I'd say it won't DCAM at PCGS because of some frost breaks on both sides and the 69 is a hard grade to hold, but that is an awesome looking coin.

Any comments?? I say buy the coin and not the holder!!!image

    image Yes it sure is nice. My guess is though that PCGS would PR67CAM it. I dont really know what kind of money a PQ 67CAM would bring. Others would have to answer that.

    It is really nice looking.I agree it probably wouldn`t DCAM at PCGS but it might UCAM at NGC.Not sure if the devices are frosty enough for that or the mirrors deep enough of DCAM.Nonetheless it is a real looker.

    I'll vouch for jeff's eye for Cameo Coins.If he thinks it is a true Cameo he'll tell you.Remember he said he viewed them after they were already holdered by PCI.

    image Thats right Don, I agree with your asessment of Jeff's expertise. Thats why I say it would not go DCAM at PCGS because if it would Jeff would send it to PCGS instead of selling it in the PCI holder. I would think a 67DCAM in a PCGS holder would bring more than he will get for a 69 in a PCI holder. I could be wrong though. One never knows these days!

    Yes indeed,very nice looking. Only problem is that Russ has shown everybody what a tool

    Perhaps the image is `light enhanced`I dont know.
