My toned coins

Like I posted earlier, this is a work in progess. Finally figured out camera settings and lighting so the coins look halfway decent. Some if these were picked up with no pricing premium, but that seems to be getting harder nowadays. Let me know what you think.

Good job. Some nice looking coins, I particularly like the buff.

It says I have to be a member to view the album, so all I got to see was the Barber. It's damned tasty, and well photographed.image

Hmmm, that's interesting. They gave me the impression that anyone could view. Maybe you have to sign the guestbook like Mike above. He was able to look at the Buffalo nickel, along with the other coins. Since I am a member, it makes it hard to test. Perhaps Mike can give you a tip how he got in.

I saw the neat Barber, really pretty. It said I had to be a member too to see the rest. I didn't see a guest log in option.
Change that we can believe in is that change which is 90% silver.

I did dig around and found this on the ImageStation web site:

To view any of the albums on ImageStation you must sign-in as a member.
When you first try to access an album and have not signed in to ImageStation or are not a member, you will see this screen.

If the cookies are not enabled in your web browser, you will see this screen.

To sign up, it only takes about a minute to complete six fields to join before viewing an album. Here is the sign-in page.

You only have to sign-up once and ImageStation requires no further obligation. We understand that some visitors will have misgivings about signing-up for an online service so we assure you that we do not share or sell our member list with other companies. During the Join Process, members can elect not to receive marketing information from ImageStation and Sony.

Sorry about that. Wish they didn't have that condition, but oh well. If you liked toned stuff, it could be worth your while. I've been a member for several months and I haven't got a single piece of junk from them yet. Plus, you get quite a bit of posting space for free. It does look like IrishMike either signed up or already was a member. I'll be adding more images thoughout the week. There's about 15 images there at this time.
  • ImageStation is a responsible service. I've been a member for 3-4 years now, and no SPAM, they haven't shared my info (to my knowledge), and they offer a pretty nice service. Since I was already registered, I was able to see your coins, but the Buffalo wasn't there yesterday...That's a beauty too!
