Hoard - n. A word used by eBay sellers to raise the emotional level of perspective bidders in the hope that they will empty their pockets and buy a coin that probably isn't from a hoard, and where most likely the coin is a dud (check the definition of "dud"). A marketing term that will raise expectations and most likely lead to disappointment for the buyer and riches for he seller
Other definitions are available in any dictionary - like for barbarian hoards sweeping across the land (not with brooms). image

  • LOL. The first time I heard this term it came from a private collector wanting to sell us over a 100 morgans. Does'nt even have a puter.. I guess he was a ebay seller and did'nt even know it, poor guy... Wonders how eBay charged him fee's on that one.....

Hoard - More than one can count or inventory. A collection gone wrong, out of control. Basically, what I have.
