1970 Kellogg's PSA Holder Spots

I have acquired over 40 of the 1970 Kellogg's set, graded PSA 9. On about 30 of these slabs, if you hold them at an angle the plastic surface is spotted more so on the front of the case then the back. The spotting looks like either some type of clear adhesive or slight flaws (scuffs) in the plastic casing.
I checked my non-Kellogg's PSA cards and have not seen this phenomenon. I am wondering if it has something to do with the thin plastic sleeving the cards are inserted in before being slabbed.
I purchased the cards from at least six or seven different sellers on e-bay, so it's not like they came from one source who may have taped or labeled the surface of the slabs.
It does not detract from the card, or the eye appeal, unless you really stare at the slab surface under bright light, however it sure is annoying.
Any answers or similar experiences would be much appreciated. Also if you know how to remove the spotting let me know. I have tried warm water, rubbing alcohol, and even a small dab of nail polish remover to no avail.

Cool, I love these cards even more now .
Lets see I have about 40 of the cards with some of the low pops like Murcer and Hundley, purchased them all graded PSA 9 and it has cost me about $650.00 + so far. The other half of the set with all the low pops from 16 thru 30 is probably gonna set me back at least $800.00 to $1000. I am figuring it will cost about $2000.00 to $2600.00 to complete this whole set in PSA 9.
Sometimes I want to give up and just fill in the low pops with 8's...but thats what I love about this set...the challenge. I may also try and buy the low pops raw and send them in for grading. The cards are beautifully designed, a lot nicer than those gray bordered, over-priced 1970's Topps and the set is only 75 cards.

You like to get people worked up, don't you Rocco? LOL
I have to agree with you though. For the price one pays I don't know of a better set to collect.
Heading out for the weekend...
Try a few "GEMMINTMAN" special Kool-Aid Kocktails (Cherry flavor w/ABSOLUTE) Those spots will either go away or get REAL BIG, but after a while you won't care anyway.
Email me on a few cards I have for you. (subject line)

I've got the same situation with about 20 PSA 9's myself.Almost identical in each card and only visible on the front.Do e-mail me if interested in some more 9's.Most of them are stars.
Thanks for the post.
Take care,
Keith
