Who are Washington Rare Coins?

These guys always seem to have dynamite key date stuff, but their prices are always absolutely through the roof, always significant amounts ahead of current market, in my experience.
They have a website that they seem to keep up to date, but otherwise I never see them around anywhere, or hear people talking about this outfit much.
I've bought a coin or two from them off their website in the past, but they've been "have to have" items, and I've had to swallow hard. The vast majority of the time, I just look, say that's neat, and move on. On the service side, they took my online order, they sent the stuff out, it's been OK, they cashed my check. Never hear a marketing peep out of them.
Just curious: does anybody know about this outfit? What's their standing in the hobby? Where do they get their stuff, and why do they charge so much?

James at WRCC was one of the first dealers to really pay attention to the Lincoln series. They full page ads in Coin World every month or two and have for years. I don't think they do a lot of marketing. My guess is they have an nice customer base from being around so long.
