This is indeed a jaw dropper. I want just one like that. (no you don't, yes you do, no you don't, yes you do) We both like it. I guess that you don't know about Grade and Price info?
Today's mighty oak is just yesterday's nut that held its ground.
Adrian, In my opinion you have the nicest half dollar I ever saw (1811/10). I can't believe that you are selling a couple of those coins! I would never sell that half or the 1799 Dollar or the 1806 Quarter. Well I guess that is why I am not a dealer. Real nice stuff there bud.
The color is out of this world. The coin looks like a GEM as well. But I could care less if the coin is a Binion coin or not. The photo is also super!!!!
Banned for Life from The Evil Empire™! Looking for Nationals, Large VF to AU type, 1928 Gold, and WWII Emergency notes. Also a few nice Buffalo Nickels and Morgan Dollars. Monty...
It's got to be NGC. They're the only ones authorized to grade and holder these Binion Morgans. That brings up an interesting question though, do you suppose PCGS would also label their insert "Binion Hoard" (or, whatever) on a cross-over? Naw. I doubt it!
Yaaaah, I guess that will do. Just a magnificent coin, Adrian! I'm like a few of the others not caring for most of the Binion coins and find a good number of them overgraded. THAT one is a real beauty!
I like the colors I wonder if peach juice caused this color combination. Binion did have a few hundred cases of canned peaches and juice leak out all over some of his hoard

Teddy Binion owned the Las Vegas casino Binion's Horseshoe, which was the first casino to have no limit on any given bet... you bet it, the house will play you...
In the Nevada Desert, he had a secret and specially constructed valut containing thousands upon thousands of Morgan dollars. He was murdered in 2001 or 2002 and NGC was authorized to ecapsulate (and grade most of) the morgan dollars, which were sold with special NGC labels in NGC holders- many are considered overgraded, so some feel that Binion grades aren't the true grades...

You don't know what you're looking at, and no, you don't see tons like that.

Most are pretty un-inpressive - lot's of MS63/64's.
They should tear out that display and just put this coin up.

I think you are referring to Redfield and his peach cans that leaked in his basement
I think it's overrated as an AU it looks more VF the eagle's head is almost bald.

That, in short, is what a Binion dollar is
