They had more conservative grading before the transition to Amos ownership.

That is what i thought but i didnt see any words that ANACS could be short for all i saw was ANA

That was the only slab that ANACS produced while they were still owned by the ANA. It came out in 1989 and then Amos Press bought ANACS in February of 1990. The slab then changed to the pyramid logoed hologram (red hologram) and the underprinting on the frint label changed to ANACS printed mulitple times.
