Could someone spare a few dollars for a Morgan

1895 PCGS PR-68DC Morgan at 225.000. Its at Houston Rare Coins. Sorry computer impaired and can`t link yet. What a beautiful coin. I am only 224.000 short. It is stated that it is a pop 1 coin. What is the real worth of this coin?

  • Let me keep it at my house a couple days a month and I'll throw in $20 image
  • Depends. If you collect the series it's very hard to put a price on obsession and passion. A pop one coin, the KEY of the series. Bah, anybody that buys it will think they got a bargain on it no matter the price. At that level you're talking a different class of collector.

    Got Morgan?

Wowsers. At first glance it looks like one of those Liberian POSs. Then you see -- it's the real deal. Then your jaw hits the table.

I wish somebody would buy that coin. It must look better than Carmen Electra naked. That is one coin that is definitely out of my reach. Even though I have a PR67DCAM, I just know that PR68DC would blow mine out of the water. OH well, maybe I can at least look at it and caress it, if he brings it to the ANA show. No doubt a RARE, RARE, out of this world coin and probably worth what he is asking. Zerbe
