To me this sellers images all look the same. They all have that pastel look to them. I feel he does tweak the color. Always the same pastel orange etc. etc.

If he tweeks the color why is the NGC insert natural looking? -I know what you mean though, the colors seem so bright, but I've seen coins like these and his feedback indicates to me the buyers are just as charmed when the coins arrive as they were when they bid via the photos provided.

I think that can be done. I have heard though that the colors might be there but not as intense as the images. I remember when he had some Peace$ up and people here were wondering about the images. He came on here and even said that it was not exactly as the image.
Then in turn edited the auction stating so. I don't know, I haven't looked lately, but before every coin he had listed all looked like the same type colors, pastel kinda wierd. JMO

Wow,If I didn`t know better I,d say it was AU something. The edge looks somewhat worn and more than just a little contact marks on the cheek. I,d pay AU money for it but not 66 money.I mean ,the color aint THAT great.Great !,just not 66 great IMO.
edited to add ,And thats just what I see on the obv.Now look at the rev.I guess its a weak strike ,thats why the middle bands are flat.I don`t buy it. I like the coin well enough,I just have a problem with the grading.
This seller is up in my neck of the woods, and sets up at a show I frequent. I inquired about who he/she is numerous times, and wondered how in the world I could have missed the coins, all toned the way they are. My response from two sources was that the coins don't look like the images, and that's why I probably just walked on by the dealers table, never realizing they were the same source. I'm going to look harder at my next show, if I can attend. The two dealers told me, basically, yeah the coins are toned, but not like the pics. I'll wait until I can see the coins first hand, but I trust the opinions I received.
Has anyone purchased any coins from this seller that can attest to the accuracy of the pics? That opinion would hold a heck of a lot more water than our "assumptions".
Actually I have a dime on Ebay right now that has a comment about some of the pictures I have seen lately on Ebay. The comment is in the description section of the dime I put up for auction.

I have no idea if the color is tweaked or not, but you can select just one area of a picture and enhance the color while leaving the rest untouched. Some programs even have an elliptical selection tool that will let you select just the coin. I know it is tough to show luster, no matter what you do. This coin could have super luster. mdwoods
I have some of my facts mixed up. This seller is not a dealer that sets up at my local shows. I had him confused with another seller. I have not seen these coins first hand, so I cannot comment on them. I have spoken with two dealers that have indeed seen this sellers Ebay offerings.
