I am qualifying this by saying I don't know gold, so here is my guess--MS60. There seems to be an area on the rim of the crown which has taken some good hits, her cheeks have taken some hard hits, too.

I would grade this coin as an MS62, but I would need to see it in person to be absolutely sure.

hate to bust your bubble but be prepared for 61, and thrilled if you get 62.....at least with PCGS, and thats what counts IMHO.

On the same note, looks like you just got it, so enjoy it, its really nice

marcmoish, this coin really does compare to other 63's in front of me except for it has a little more on the cheek than those do but the frosty luster and great eye appeal just might get me a 63. If I don't get a 63 it's okay too as I already have two 63's and two 64's of this date also. mike

SageRad, I wish there was a forum for just US gold coins but there is none I know of. I up-load my pictures to the internet then I just use the link in the picture box above where you write your post and it works for me but I really don't know how to up-load directly from your computer to here. Maybe someone else can help with that? mike

The scan's obverse may be a little too marky for 63...the scan's reverse looks 64 to me. I think the scan would grade 62, but it might be a 63.

I'll guess 62. Grading by a check off sheet can do that, otherwise 61.

I am no expert in grading but I love these guess the grades (especially when Hall agrees with me ). They really help sharpen me up.

Good image BTW. It is pretty easy to hide things when imaging gold coins. They are very forgiving to the camera.
