Do these white spots affect the grade at all. I am talking about the solid grayish white spots, not the blue like irridescent haze or hazy spots on them.
The reason I ask is that I have a few rolls that I was going through, all are superb coins, that would grade 67+ technically and luster wise, but the spots are on most of them, some just a few scattered some all over the coin. I also notice a couple PCGS MS66s that I have have some varying amounts of these spots, so I thought maybe not.
thank you again for your time

Unfortunately, white spots on steel cents are a significant negative. They definitely lower the grade. And by the way, they will have a tendency to grow with the passage of time. my advice is to dump any Steelies with even small white spots and keep the spot free Gems.
