So close, yet so far away...I think?

My 1972 Topps Football set was updated today and I am 0.06 set rating points away from the number one spot on the registry.
I currently have 154 PSA 9 and 2 PSA 10 cards in my set. So I was trying to do the math and figure out how many more upgrades I need to take over the top spot. Yeah Right!!! After an hour of fustrating math equations, I remember (I think) that someome on these boards had a program that would help me figure this out.
Little help please.
Anyone have a link to that site?

Example:
I upgrade the following cards from PSA 7 to PSA 8:
Smith (Weight of 1)
Jones (Weight of 10)
Johnson (Weight of 3)
Perkins (Weight of 2)
I raised the set 1 point for Smith, 10 points for Jones, 3 points for Johnson and 2 points for Perkins. Since they each went up 1 grade, the total added is 1+10+3+2= 16.
Let's say that the set's total weight is 400. I divide 16/400 to find that I have raised it .04 for my GPA
You need to upgrade your set rating by .06 points to tie for the lead. .06 X 923 (total points in set) = 55.38 points.
For evey card you upgrade you gain the # of grades upgraded (PSA 6 to a PSA 8=2, PSA 7 to PSA 8=1) X the weight of the card. (As Vargha explained)
If you upgrade all the cards you listed to PSA 8 you will gain 52 grade points.

Feel free to use my spreadsheet.

I calculated your set rating with a spreadsheet and got 8.446. I think there is a error with the registry rating. I double checked my numbers so I believe the rating I calculated is the correct set rating for your set.
This would mean that you would need to gain .009 on you set rating to tie the first set (if that set rating is correct). Please note this is what you would need to get to 8.455 wich will be rounded up to 8.46. This means that you need to gain .009 X 923 = 8.3 grade points to tie the first set. To go ahead of the first set you need .019 added to your set rating or .019 X 923= 17.5 grade points.
Thanks everyone!

Are you sure PSA has updated the card(s) you have recently registered? Have you accounted for any qualifiers (I'm sure you don't have any though ) in the spreadsheet? The set registry has screwed up calculations on several of my sets in the past. The last time I checked, the % completion calculation on my '69 Topps Baseball set was still incorrect.
I've created spreadsheets for a lot of sets and I'd be happy to take a look at yours to see if I can find any errors. Email it to me if you want and I'll take a look.
