From some reading, I see milky spots are kinda common on 23 Peace dollars, and it can't be dipped off for some reason. Don't know if NCS could do anything. That one looks like somebody danced on it...
Anyone know if the white spots and sometimes I've seen them in the toning (which makes them a different color) has something to do with the way the planchets were prepared or something to that effect? Thanks

I won a slabbed 23 MS 63 in a coin club raffle that looks tons better than that...same grading service too. Somebody's eyes must've been tired that day.
stman the white spots you see on Peace dollars are commonly called waterspots. They are not tone that's why you can't dip them away. They are actually etched into the surface from where the planchet was dipped in sulfuric acid at the Mint and not rinsed and/or dried very well.
Change that we can believe in is that change which is 90% silver.
