Twowood, if you sent economy, you're about 2 weeks away. They are really slow. PCGS is pretty backed up too. I have an invoice they received 12-3 economy that hasn't graded yet. Tranquile senior. It's all good.

Ya, ANACS holds economy submissions, PCGS undergrades them I've got two packages there now, one left here 12/9, the other last week. They had a problem with my first submission and instead of saying "tough", they sent me a credit slip. So I sent them more coins. Now that PCGS is handing out 70's again (on a quota, according to DH, not by merit), all my moderns are going to ANACS. I see no reason to renew my PCGS collectors club membership this year.
<< <i>I'm STILL waiting for coins that I sent to ANACS for grading on Nov.16th. Never again! Twowood >>
Never again for economy, perhaps. I sent in a lot at about the same time, and I'm still waiting. But I went into it eyes wide open, and knew that ANACS economy can take a very long time. Basically, there's no set time frame for economy -- they do everything else first, and then with whatever time left over they process the economy orders. They're just winding up a big 10/10/10 promotion, and that certainly would have generated a lot of orders, slowing up economy orders even more. I put in a 10/10/10 order about two weeks after my economy order, and that one came back right away.
I just got back a submission from ANACS (more about a specific coin later today). Sent it on their 5-5-15 program (5 coins/5days/$15 per coin) and was 9 days door to door, registered mail from PA.
Just so everyone knows, their 5-5-15 special isn't so special. While they advertise it as a special, it is their stardard deal that is available every day.
I guess I must have caught ANAC's 5-120-12 economy program.Next time I'll wait for another 10-10-10 program before sending off a batch. I'd appreciate it if one of you folks will post about a special program from PCGS,NGC or ANACS when you see it advertised...just in case I miss it. Twowood
