Found this in a roll, looks like copper...

It is not exactly cheating, I prefer to consider it creative problem solving!!!

    I have one that looks like it I borrowed from Petescorner. It's in a PCGS MS-64 slab and says "Nickel struck on Cent Planchet" image

    It sure looks like a full-width, full strike to be on a cent planchet ... what about the thickeness, that is the key. Is it cent-like or nickel-like? Not sure what you have there ... looks curious

    I have Nicklels on Cent planchets, that isn't it. It has a Nickel coating and it seems to be coming off. Leaving a copper base. Strangest thine I have ever seen. The rim is copper colored also. Can't figure this one out.

    Looks like a nice toned nickel to me,I dont know.

    It's a copper sintered nickel. It happens when left over copper particles in the annealing oven are baked on.
    Change that we can believe in is that change which is 90% silver.
