The Van Gogh of the Ghetto! my psa results

Just received the grades for my latest submission... This is the first time that I have really been able to get the grades I was hoping for... didn't use a magnifyer.... but I did inspect the cards very carefully before I submitted them... I was hoping to get mostly 8's and a few 9's spattered in there... and I did... 1973, 1974 and 1976 topps basketball...

Everytime I make a submission, I like to toss in a few cards for fun...
this time, I submitted a 1975 GOOD TIMES card... labeled "the van gogh of the ghetto" and I banged out an 8... These are tough cards and this was a pleasing grade for me. I also submitted a 1977 Topps Star Wars red card displaying the gorgeous fury mug of Chewbacca... labeled "the roar of the wookie!" this also got an 8...
I think that these will be fun to have...
Probably the most exciting return will be my PSA 9 1972 Icee Bear Connie Hawkins... Now... I have finally completed my Connie Hawkins player collection... and sealed it off with a psa 9...
I also completed my run of ABA legend LOUIE DAMPIER and with this submission.... I am only now only (1) card shy of finishing Earl Monroe and (2) of Nate Archibald.

GEOFF - Just think, Many collectors on these boards have PSA-8 graded Mantles, Aarons, Clementes, but how many own the coveted "Van Gogh of the Ghetto"? ...jay

Yeah... maybe one of these collectors would trade a nice psa 8 mantle for a psa 8 JJ? mmm.... or perhaps I could get a sweet psa 8 koufax for my psa 8 chewbacca?
Once I posted a psa 8 Luke Skywalker, started it at $1 and it went for $45.00~ now... that was a nice sell...
in any case, I'll have to post a pic of this van gogh of the ghetto... it's a funny card!
