Redbook Equivalent for English Coins?

I have a friend who has inherited a collection of English coins from the 1600s - current.

Is there a price / information guide similar to the Redbook someone can recommend so I / they can figure out what they've got here?

Coincraft or Seaby. I prefer Coincraft.
Both available from the ANA shop.

The Canadian equivalent is Charlton. Again, the ANA shop.

Thanks for the reply. I have the Charlton 55th edition, but didn't know if it was the definitive one or not.
