Anaheim Show

EDIT -- MrLee beat me too it and his thread has pics --- Linky

Quick report -- nice turnout, very busy in the morning.

Several Board members there -- the usual - Nucklehead (Paul) MrLee (Lee) & his daughter & brother, Strat (John) & his wife. Barney -- with a beautiful toned Morgan -- stunning coin.

I saw lots of gold changing hands, not mine of course, but there was quite a few gold MS coins.

Picked up a complete toned MS silver Roosevelt set for a great price as well as a toned ANACS MS63 1927 Peace for a great price as well. Sold off a few Roosies to MrLee & Nucklehead and completed my set @ home.

If you're near Anaheim, its a fun show and it's growing.

Next one is February 9th.

Just a quick question. Is Fullerton Coins still there on Raymond Ave. between Chapman and Commonwealth?

Michael. Thanks again for those Roosevelts. They sure do look good in my albumimage And that toned '63 proof is really special. My scanner does NOT do it justice (as you can see)
imageIt's SO much better than that. Thanks again.

Coinkat-- yep, and it's one of my favorite shops. The owner (Bill I think) is quite colorful and he has a great collection.

MRLee -- That proof was nice image Glad you like it!

Don't know what I'm going to do with the rest of the toned Roosies though, now that I've combined albums.

Thanks for the response Frattlaw. That was the first coin store I ever visited over 30 years ago even before Bill was there. At that time and through the late 1970s, there was a bid board THAT WAS JUST GREAT. I am pleased to hear that Bill is there and doing good. Thanks again. BTW, good job with the 1836 Bust Dime.

I went to the show briefly and I can tell you that Strat's table had the best coins....bar none. For all you Washington lovers Strat had some nicely toned ones (IMO). Good stuff...hell...he even had a pretty toned (not monster though..) Kennedy. Braddick...are you listening? I would have bought it but I already had the date...I was temped though. image
